Listening for God through Revelation (Lectio Divina Bible Studies)

Lectio Divina, Latin for divine reading, is a series of Bible studies that calls Christians to slow down, read Scripture, meditate on it, and prayerfully respond as they listen to God through His Word. Despite the claims of contemporary books, the task of readers of Revelation is not to discover the true identity of its characters and events, or to figure out exactly where we are in the countdown to Armageddon. Rather, the powerful overriding message of Revelation is that since the first coming of Christ, God reigns unchallenged in heaven. Revelation was not intended to be read alone silently.
