Originally published in the Soviet Union in 1958, this book gives the history of Soviet psychology from the pre-Revolutionary days of throwing mentally ill patients in jail to the newer Soviet sanitariums (where the mentally ill patients are housed). Photos of patients playing with animals, children with logopedists, electric-sleep therapy, and labor therapy.
