No More Buffalo

Through the bronze sculptures and insightful text of Bob Scriver,the recipient of the 1990 Montana Governor's Award for Distinguished Achievement in the Arts, NO MORE BUFFALO traces the history of the Blackfeet nomadic pre-horse days, through the coming of the horse, to the flowering of their materially and spiritually rich culture in the 18th and 19th centuries.

The 53 powerful sculptures, stunningly reproduced in color, honor the Blackfeet Indians that Scriver grew up with, and portray his very special understanding of the traditions of the Blackfeet culture.
