A Barefoot Doctor's Manual

A barefoot doctor's manual was published in 1970 by the Institute of Traditional Chinese Medicine of Hunan Province in China, to supply its barefoot doctors with a basic guide in their work in serving the rural population. The present edition has been carefully revised to correct technical errors and errors of translation. The purpose of this manual to co-ordinate and integrate the relationship between traditional Chinese and western medicine, prevention and treatment of illness, understanding disease and symptoms.
