Desert Survival

The purpose of this book is to provide the desert traveler with information which may help to overcome an emergency in the desert. Better yet, it may prevent the emergency from ever occurring. Surviving in the desert requires many skills which are learned through actual experience, and you won't acquire them by reading a book. For that reason, we wish to emphasize from the start that you must fortify your reading with actual experience.... It's how well you've prepared before you head out that will determine how you handle an emergency.
