This book, the first of its kind, profiles 50 African American and Latina women who have reached the top of their fields, including law, medicine, communications, business, technology, the arts, education and government as well as the non-profit arena. Research has shown that there is a critical need for visible role models for young girls, especially in the African American and Latino communities.
