Directing Life: The Hidden Power of Quickening, Gnosis, Union and Love

Directing Life describes the universal belief of the very early Christians in a self-generated ‘intoxicating’ or mind expanding biochemical fluid called living water which was the same as ambrosia, amrita or haoma of the Greeks, Indians and Persians. The generation of this inner state of intoxication was often obtained during special feasts within small, isolated groups which sought total unification of the souls of the members with the Divine as well as with the future. To the early Christians, an inner feminine soul directed life from deep within the heart located deep in the bowels of the body. The metaphysical yearnings of the soul were physically manifested by a separate inner transformational and creational power that was derived from the Divine as per Proverbs 16:9.
