Scripts of the Lilliiputian Players

Beginning in 1952, Lewis Mahlmann created an annual puppet production under the name the Lilliputian Players. These elaborate productions were seen by invited audiences at Lewis' magnificent Victorian 'Painted Lady' home in San Francisco. When he became director of the Storybook Puppet Theater at Children's Fairyland, Oakland, CA, these private productions were limited to special occasions outside the park such as birthday celebrations.
