The late 1970's was a time when the new theology was rapidly engulfing a confused and uncertain SDA church as a reaction to legalistic principles. Tragically, many who found the impotency of legalism were deceived into accepting a theology which claims that there are no divine conditions of salvation, a belief that victorious Christian living is not possible and has no mandate in salvation. This book is far more relevant today than when it was first written. For this reason the authors decided to leave unchanged its content for the very content answers the challenges that have come through later writers and that continue to be current.
