The book is an in-depth exploration of the theories of Aristotle and Hobbes as contrasting notions of interests in time. Prudence is concerned with time and strategy and there is a full exploration of the variety of modes of time with which the strategist must deal. There is experiential time, causality in time, time-space coding, cognized time and intentive time. The concept of the "times of time" is elaborated and the epistemology of futures is probed.
