Prophetess of the Earth: And the Apocalypso : Drahcira's Last Dance

Richard Kuykendall has created in this volume a new gospel with a new christ who comes with a mes­sage of salvation for the planet and, with it, humani­ty. In the tradition of Creation Spirituality and other free spiritu­al movements that borrow truth from many of the world’s religions, Prophetess of the Earth em­braces traditions from many sources—including (but not limited to) Native American and feminist theologies. Although this gospel parallels in many ways the Christian gospels, it is not the basis for a new denomi­nation or cult. It is a trans-religious testament to a modern spiritual journey in search of ecological and psychological salvation. As with Jesus Christ in his time, this new christ, Drahcira, prophetess of the earth, may be dismissed as a devil, a dreamer or a lunatic. Then again, this new gospel may indeed lead us to a new salvation. Only time will tell. . . .
