The Book of the Milky Way : A Brief but Complete Account of the Voyage

This is a brief, whimsical tale of a sailing trip from Gloucester, Massachusetts, to the Milky Way. The book gives one short paragraph of facts per page, but the facts gradually turn to fiction as the reader gets acquainted with the lonely shipwright Mr. Russell Snow and his companion, the fallen woman Bridget Malone. Many of the fantastical facts in the tale are true and, indeed, the story of two lonely people finding each other has its own truth.
