Wet Site Archaeology identifies the characteristics common to all archaeological wet sites, from Newfoundland to Chile, Polynesia to Florida and from the Late Pleistoscene to the twentieth century. The rewards and responsibilities of recovering unique assemblages from water-saturated deposits are explored.
