Southwest Weaving : A Continuum (The Vision Persists: Native Folk Arts of the West)

Based on a traveling exhibition, this volume illustrated and describes hand-woven textiles from the Pueblo, Navajo, and New Mexico Hispanic village cultures--three distinct groups who, at various times, learned from, stole from, fought with, teamed up with, and overall, co-existed with each other. Illustrated in color and black and white with numerous examples of the textiles discussed.
