Visceral Manipulation

In this DVD, pioneering osteopath Jean-Pierre Barral demonstrates and discusses many of the diagnostic and treatment techniques that he and his colleagues developed in their system of visceral manipulation. Also presented are original gross anatomical dissections prepared specifically by the author for this video format, together with graphical representations. The central premise of visceral manipulation is that the interrelationship of structure and function among the internal organs is at least as strong as that among the constituents of the musculoskeletal system. And like the musculoskeletal system, manipulation of the viscera may be beneficially used in the treatment of internal organ dysfunction.
