📖 Description
Anyone familiar with the Diary knows that it contains Saint Faustina's daily record of experiences, thoughts, and prayers. Unfortunately, these are presented in often unrelated bits and pieces, in no logical, thematic, or even chronological order. This problem led Fr. George Kosicki, CSB, assistant director of Divine Mercy International, to develop a comprehensive study guide to the Diary. Part I presents Fr. George's exhaustive thematic index, which cross references each paragraph of the Diary to specific topics. The index contains over 90 topics and over 7,000 subtopics - many with multiple references and cross references as well. "Entries on the Eucharist alone provde enough material for a full retreat," says Fr. George. Part II comprises a "mini-diary," consisting of 82 main revelations excerpted from the Diary by Fr. Ignacy Rozycki, who was one of the Church's leading theologians on the Divine Mercy message and devotions. This "mini-diary" summarizes the message of trust and mercy and presents the essential elements of the devotion. These helpful features make the Study Guide to the Diary of Saint Maria Faustina an essential resource for every promoter of the Divine Mercy message and devotion, as well as for students and scholars who want to study the Diary.
