Old Sins Cast Long Shadows

Jackie Quaglia's father told her at an early age that their family was in the revenge business, and she was taught to kill without remorse. He wanted her to be the son he never had in order to become the head of a killing empire that extended from coast to coast. Jackie's goal, however, was to leave that life and live like any other normal person, and she began to make her secret plans to escape. Falling in love was not in her plans, but that gave her a stronger incentive to disappear when she realized that if she stayed with the family she'd never have the type of life she yearned for. Her plans to get out are suddenly cut short, but even Fate has a calendar date and Jackie will, at last, find the freedom she had been looking for.
