Doyles Casebook

Tommy Doyle spent over twenty five years working as a detective on the La force. Unfortunately he is forced into retiring. Or did he resign? Which ever it is he decides to set himself up as a private investigator. Moving into an old brownstone building he quickly becomes an integral part of the local community. His presence forcing change within the district, much to the relief of the residents but not the criminals. Maintaining a close friendship with his ex-partner and friend Mac (Inspector Peter Mackintosh) the pair continue to assist each other whenever a case becomes difficult. After all sometimes two heads prove to be better than one. These stories are the details of some of the cases solved by Tommy and Mac.
