Reclaiming the Forgotten Biblical Heritage: When a People Forget Their Heritage, They Are Easily Persuaded to Lose Their Identity

In Reclaiming the Forgotten Biblical Heritage, the author reveals how the Bible influences the seven spheres of our modern society: religion, family, government, economics, education, media, and human rights. He presents a past and current assessment of how the West has morally and spiritually departed from these because they have forsaken their biblical heritage. History proves that any nation that forgets God will lose its freedom. When that God-given freedom is lost, a tyrannical government is established with a religion of humanism that is diametrically opposed to biblical Christianity. This is what happened to Nazi Germany in the 1930s and to Russia in 1917. Aleksandr Solzhenitsyn said that the Russian people lost their freedom simply because “men had forgotten God.” By providing biblical teaching with historical documentation, Reclaiming the Forgotten Biblical Heritage challenges the reader to thoughtfully consider the culture in which we live. Christians are urged to preach the cross, pray for another Great Awakening, and to spiritually prepare for what could be one of the most challenging and exciting periods in world history.
