The Volume contains thirty-three articles selected from the more than 250 papers presented at the Twentieth Louisiana Conference on Hispanic Languages and Literatures sponsored by Tulane University, New Orleans, February 25-27, 1999. Hispanistis from Argentina, Brazil, Canada, Mexico, The Netherlands, Portugal, Puerto Rico, Spain, the United Kingdom, Venezuela, and almost all of the fifty states of the USA presented papers in conference and special sessions.
