Beneath the grandstands

Beneath the Grandstands is a very interesting book. It focuses on Ray Crump's life growing up as a bat boy for the Washington Senators and then moved to Minnesota to be come the Minnesota Twins first equipment manager. Along the way he has met many famous people including presidents (such as Nixon) and celebrities (like Elvis). A must read for the true baseball aficionado of not just the Twins but many of the other stars of the games especially during the 1960s and 1970s.
