Fence Lines: Poems about Cowboys & Country Folk, Kid Groups & Congress, and Other Rhymes for Our Place & Times

A collection of 325 cowboy-style poems, composed over three decades by a multi-talented Utah wordsmith, artist and musician, who has performed many of them at various cowboy poetry gatherings. A large number have also been published in The Insider, a weekly newspaper in Wayne County, Utah. Subjects range from cattle ranching to politics, from life in the country to "wilderness therapy" programs for kids. The strongest feature is humor, but you will also find a little sadness, bits of philosophy, and even a flash or two of outright outrage. Pen and ink drawings by the author complement the text throughout, and an index of titles makes it easy to find your old favorites.
