Deep Wonder : Poems

"Deep Wonder" is a collection of poetic meditations on love, loss, renewal, and faith by a Catholic author. The book is divided into four parts: "The Desert," "Jesus Ministers," "The Banquet of Christ," and "Bravissimo, Abba!" The author reflects on God's love and our often inadequate response to it, on the Gospels, and on mystical union with God. The poems sometimes express desolation, sometimes ecstatic or quiet joy, sometimes playfulness. They are always direct, heartfelt, and intimate.
