Deadly Monopoly
A courageous whistle-blower, who had been in charge of recruiting minority donors for the NMDP, wrote a detailed letter to the president, Congress and government agencies. The FBI fell there was enough evidence to warrant an investigation of her allegations of misuse of the funding, and discrimination against minorities. The FBI recommended that the United States Attorney get involved immediately. But then, seemingly without explanation, the FBI was called off the case and the NMDP continued to do business as usual.
