Winning the Nobel Prize at the age of 19, Peter Rhoades is on the road to the fulfillment of all his dreams. Responding to an offer from private investors to head his own company and control his destiny, he finds grants and research contracts are like picking fruit from the trees. For fifteen years, Trinity Research Labs, led by Peter Rhoades and his team of gifted scientists, has been the on the cutting edge in genetic engineering. Now Bill Page and Joshua Church find themselves pushing their research to the next level. When Page and Church are ordered to surrender their project to the Office of Advanced Research, a suspected government agency that has grown out of nowhere and run by a certain nameless congressman, trouble begins.
