Understanding Architects : A Constructor's Guide to Architectural Practice

This is a book commissioned by a construction company and written by an architect with the hope that if constructors learn more about who designers are, what drives them, and what they consider to be successful design, they will become better business partners and more effective builders. The intent is to give insight into how architects view the world, their changing roles, relationships and attitudes and how this profession is coping with change. It is hoped that by reading this book, constructors will gain an understanding of how architects think, write, speak and behave.
