Desperate for More of God: The heart cry of every believer

One of the difficult challenges associated with pastoring is witnessing the tragic results of people dying spiritually with living water just steps away: “Whoever drinks the water I give him will never thirst” (John 4:14). Although most can quote, “Blessed are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness for they shall be filled,” many have never truly experienced it—very few are truly hungry and thirsty for God. This book is a compilation of past articles, sections from other books I’ve written, and sermons preached at Westside Christian Fellowship—the best-of-the-best. We pray that this collection of targeted topics fuels an intense desire for more of God. Though the road ahead may be uncertain at times, the solid ground beneath will never shift.
