Charles and Ray Eames rank among the most important American designers of the twentieth century. Known for their groundbreaking contributions to architecture, furniture design, industrial design and manufacturing, and the photographic arts, they were enthusiastic hands-on explorers of new media. It is no surprise to learn that they experimented with stereo (3-D) photography. The 21 full-color three-dimension images in this collection, taken by the Eameses themselves, touch on several areas of their work.
