Many people say they are ready to "step up" to a new life, but in truth they are quite content where they are. They might think they want different results and they will often tell people they do, but in truth the limiting circumstances, situations, and people they maintain in their lives serve the valuable function of constructing the walls of a place that feels like home. In some cases that home might not be much, but at least it feels comfortable and secure. For such people, the Stepping Up Program will have little benefit.
