Living with Bats?

No other animal in the history of the world has been so misunderstood as the bat. This innocuous creature has been portrayed as evil, fearful, and even the devil himself. These misconceptions come from the fact that the bat is nocturnal, is silent in flight, and of course, anything that lives under the cloak of darkness must be suspected of supernatural abilities. Throughout history, the bat has been portrayed as this evil. From the stories of Count Dracula to the more modern Batman, the image of the bat strikes fear into the heart of even the bravest of souls.
