Technical Manual for Measuring and Evaluating Family Support Program Quality and Benefits

This technical manual includes descriptions of the scales used in studies reported in two companion monographs, Measuring and Evaluating Family Support Program Quality and Family Support Program Quality and Parent, Family and Child Benefits, to measure adherence to family support principles and for relating variations in adherence to variations in parent, family, and child behavior and functioning. The instruments and scales in this technical manual were used to measure adherence to family support principles, self-efficacy beliefs, satisfaction with help, parenting competence and confidence, personal and family well-being, social support, and child functioning.
