Two professional linguists, authors of "Shakespeare's Fingerprints", provide a modern spelling edition of a brilliantly scandalous sixteenth century novel. In an accompanying essay they argue that Shakespeare-Oxford was the author and proceed to identify the novel’s major characters with real-life Elizabethan personages.
