Zoe's Journal

Zoe, a young woman artist in New York City, keeps a beautifully illustrated journal for an entire year. She records her efforts to become a serious painter, her thoughts about the nature of art, her romances with various unsuitable men, and her troubles with a number of unsavory and criminal characters. She earns her living by making fake medieval illuminated manuscripts, and each page of her journal contains drawings inspired by her work.
