From the first call for booking a circle, to what things are helpful to know for setting up, this book is for anyone who has the desire to facilitate rhythm-based events. This includes anyone entering the field of facilitated rhythm-based events, practicing facilitators, to trained graduates of Village Music Circles Playshops. This handbook will help you better serve almost any population or constituency ranging from family-friendly rhythm events, to kids in school, special needs populations, the well elderly, and corporate team-building events. The book covers the basic structure of a great facilitated event from drum call to closing. There are questions for reflection and lots of places where you can write things that you find helpful to remember in your own circles. The book also includes many reference materials, concepts of drum facilitation, Arthur's triplicities, ideas for writing your own contract, etc. The back of the book has several pages for you to track your events, and, of course, a place for you to write your ideas, discoveries, and learnings.
