"The Big C" by Licia D. Hayden (One Woman's Journey-Her Battle with Cancer and How She Survived). This book written originally in the early 1980's recounts the author's battle with cancer. Often humorous, sometimes sad, the stories are truthful and revealing in her day to day activities dealing with discovery, treatment and ultimate cure of her disease. The back cover written by her long time friend and minister, Rev. Dr. Janie Adams Spahr: From diagnosis onward, Licia believed in her wellness.
