Workbook Physics, Mechanics

Workbook Physics, Mechanics was created to provide high school physics teachers and their students with classroom-tested and student-centered curriculum materials for the study of introductory mechanics. These materials include concept development exercises, hands-on lab activities and focused problem sets suitable for group work, as well as chapter objectives, problem solving tips, and review materials. Most students cannot learn physics simply by reading a textbook or listening to lectures. Instead, students need to engage in active learning through a variety of whole and small group exercises and activities to order to master new concepts. Workbook Physics, Mechanics, which can be used in conjunction with any textbook, was designed to help teachers provide their students with these types of experiences.
