I & I

I & I (which in Jamaica means me and my people) is a collection of prose and poetry about the human condition that centers on the value system of the ancient Egyptians and the lives of teens living in urban centers such as Brooklyn. The themes in each genre -- stories about hate, poems about love -- all connect back to the essays on the values of Maat, the spirituality that guided Kemetic people to greatness for more than 5,000 years.
