She's Shameless: Women write about growing up, rocking out and fighting back

Fearless and funny, this anthology is for and about strong, smart, and shameless young women, written by those who were once in their place. With wit and honesty, women writers share nonfiction stories of their teen experiences—both positive and negative—on everything from pop culture to high school principals. The collection is founded on the tradition of Shameless, a Toronto-based magazine, of celebrating smart, sassy, honest, and inclusive writing that reaches out to young female readers who are often ignored by the mainstream: freethinkers, queer youth, young women of color, punk rockers, feminists, intellectuals, artists, and activists.
