Mathematics of Fire

"Mathematics of Fire" is a collection of sixteen poems focusing on the struggle of 21st century Midwestern life. It blends the traditional with the contemporary, as well as religion, the social climate of the Midwest and politics. Wild's distinct poetic voice complements his unique perception of the world. The poetry of Josh Wild is a glimpse into the mind of one who willingly struggles with every word for the sake of something unique. Sometimes aggressively political, other times curiously nostalgic, Wild senses the world around him and instinctively reacts with a variety of brave imagery and finely tuned storytelling. Each individual chapbook is hand-sewn with four black and white photographs inside.
