Cradles in Q City: Adoption | Orphan Care | Missions | Hope

Several times each year, in partnership with orphanages around the world, groups of Americans set out on trips through Storyteller Missions to learn and share the stories of children awaiting adoption. These are the stories of some of those volunteers. They came from very different places, emotionally and geographically. They came to one orphanage in Q City, China. They came home changed forever. --- The infant s upper lip is cleft, creating a large cavity with pink gums showing. Her stare is intense, and she slowly turns her head to look around at the world outside her crib.  You re a tiny little thing, aren t you? Zhang Jing is about 6 weeks old and had been abandoned at the hospital when she was 3 days old.  She s the most alert baby this American visitor has ever seen. And nothing remained the same after that first peek inside the Cradles of Q City.
