Description
The Strange Bath Sessions - Bath days were different for each age group of boys. I'm writing about the junior and senior boys. The baths took place in the basement, and while there, the children had to wear loin aprons after they stripped naked. The apron only covered the front, so the children took it off because it was too clumsy to wear. There was always a nun supervising, but she never seemed concerned about anything! There were a lot of peepholes in the corrugated walls of the baths. Some holes were eye-level while standing; others were low, about tub top level. Once in a while, we could see eyes and something black go by the holes as the nun made her inspection rounds. She was looking for any lewd conduct I would guess. The peeper had to be her because she was the only one wearing black - her veil. Stranger yet, the doors were unlocked. She could have walked in. The children walked around naked, some with erections and some fondling others, but I attached no significance to the activity at the time. It was just something to do. These scenarios were repeated often, and only ceased after the children left to go elsewhere. After the orphanage, I went to a lot of foster homes for two and one half years. My trials and tribulations were just beginning. I'll never forget them. --- from book's back cover
