About the Book
Patience "Pat" Oaktree is the self-proclaimed most successful professional organizer in the State. Never mind that she's borderline chronically disorganized herself and can't seem to start, much less complete, some of her own projects. She uses her silent mantra of "Patience, Patience" to remind herself not to get frustrated. When Pat is hired by wealthy Eleanor Grafton to organize her late husband's extensive photography collection for an upcoming museum exhibit, the job comes with a catch: Pat also must repatriate a portrait looted from Germany during World War II, and she has to do it anonymously. Before long, Pat is embroiled in not one, but two, international art controversies. But it's the haunting photo hanging in a booth at a local restaurant - a snapshot that was mistakenly sold with the help of one of Pat's colleagues - that has her losing sleep.
