Police Chief Stevens isnt much help when the girls present evidence pointing to the mastermind. So, they must set out on their own to bring the suspects to justice. Harrowing car chases, foot pursuits, kidnapping, and a lot of self defense moves makes for a story that will keep you guessing to the end. REVIEW:I thought that Vicki Silver, The Stolen Gem, was very descriptive and it was very easy to picture all of the scenes and people inside of my head. There were some times when I couldn't put the book down, and I had to keep reading and see what happened next. I thought this book was a very good mystery and I can't wait to read the rest of the books in the series! (Lauren R. age 12)
