The National Contender

A fast-paced novel about an average American who knocks out a boxing champion while defending his girlfriend. He takes his fifteen minutes of fame and tells the public what is wrong with the political system. He is encouraged to run for President as an Independent and uncovers a web of corporate corruption and deceit. Needless to say, the powers that be try to silence him and prevent him from reporting his discovery to the public.
