In creating this book, we took a deep, introspective look at our most critical mistakes. We analyzed and documented the lessons we learned from those mistakes and offer tips for others who find they are making common mistakes or who want to take the proactive approach of avoiding the same mistakes. Let's face it. We are all human and are bound to make mistakes at some point. However, we seek to avoid making mistakes that may negatively impact the children we work with. We know that our interactions with the youth we come in contact with on a daily basis will leave a lasting impression.
