The Art Of Theatre Organ Arranging (volume three) is the third in a series of popular arrangement books. In this volume, Jelani Eddington publishes five more arrangements of theatre organ classics: You Made Me Love You (I Didn't Want To Do It), The Teddy Bears' Picnic, When I Lost You, That's A Plenty, and Intermezzo (from Carmen). What's new in Volume Three? We are grateful to all of the readers of our previous volumes who shared their suggestions for materials to include in this volume and in upcoming editions. We are pleased to include several new items: (1)Discussion of second touch and how to use it, with suggested exercises for mastering the technique, (2) Introduction to minor scales and keys + Advanced discussion of registration (3) Introduction to various important theatre organ devices (including traps, percussions, couplers, sostenuto) (4) Introduction to playing orchestral music. And, as in our last volume, chord symbols are used in each of the arrangements, and a catalog of essential theatre organ registrations is included for easy reference.
