The Dragon Egg, The Compass & The Magic Carpet is full of exciting magical adventures for Alexander and his four siblings. Alexander brought home a beautiful purple rock while exploring an alien world using his time-space travel compass. Imagine Alexander's surprise when the rock hatches a purple dragon. The baby dragon grows fast and begins wrecking Grandpa's woods. Alexander has no choice but to return Spike, his beloved pet dragon, to his own world. While delivering Spike, Alexander encountered a creature resembling a pterodactyl. The creature grabbed Alexander just as he pushed the 'Go' button on his compass to return to Grandpa's woods. Now Alexander is in the talons of a dangerous alien creature, high in the air over Grandpa's woods, hanging upside down. Terrified he will drop his compass; Alexander desperately tries to reach the panic button. Alexander is face down, gripped by one arm and one leg. If only Spike was here now. Will Alexander be able to escape? Will Alexander be able to return the strange creature to its own world?
