Tears On My Wings

In 1985, LL Cool J was rapping about his Radio and the gold, bamboo earrings were Jingling Baby! on the B-girls with their sexy geometric hairstyles. Fifteen year old beautiful fashionista Montana, meets fifteen year old, street-wise B-girl, Nia. Together, they become the Salt-N-Pepa of the projects on the mean, drug-infested streets of Chester, Pa. But when Montana s Aunt Lisha introduces the two girls to marijuana, alcohol and cocaine; life becomes a party and the two girls indulge like there is no tomorrow. Soon, the party escalates into smoking crack and prostitution and that s when things begin to spin out of control. As Montana becomes a slave to crack addiction, she meets sharp-dressing, Rasheeda and Montana comes face to face with the biggest crack dealer in Philly, Rasheeda s uncle, Ahmeen. He becomes Montana s lover and eventually, helps to plunge her further into a world of drug addiction, prostitution, and murder; while forcing her to sell crack for him out of the nearby abandoned house. All the horrors of drug addiction will bring her to her knees and leave her life teetering on the edge. Will she realize that the only way to save her own life is to have faith in something more powerful than any drug? Will only her faith in God be enough to pull her out of her personal hell so that she can wipe the tears from her wings and soar free? Will Montana be able to survive this?
