Having abandoned her life in Chicago for the chance to write undisturbed, animal lover Athie Wolfe now finds herself alone in a small Southern town where her closest friends are her cat (Tinker Bell) and her housemate's two dogs (King Toot and Maxx Black). She's entirely pleased with her quiet life, until an unlikely human friendship breaks into her heart and ruins her solitude.
