Microsoft Windows 7 - From Beginner to Administrator (Academic Series) provides hands-on instruction on Microsoft Windows 7 installation, configuration and administration. It is divided into lessons, all of which include technical theory, hands-on step-by-step lab instructions, review questions that reinforce the most important concepts, as well as critical thinking exercises that apply theoretical concepts to real life scenarios. A version of this text is currently being used in an accredited technical college's Windows 7 Networking Essentials course. It has successfully introduced hundreds of new college students that have little or no computer/networking experience, to Windows 7 administration. The author is a Microsoft Certified Professional. Her titles have included: Network Administrator/Senior Network Engineer, Wide Area Network Technical Sales Consultant, and Assistant Professor in the IT/Networking department at an accredited college.
